The Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge is a free, online reading program designed to help students turn the “summer slide” — the learning loss which can occur over the summer months — into a “summer leap” by discovering the joy and magic of reading for fun.

These book lists for grades PreK-K, grades 1-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12 include favorite books and series like Clifford, Dog Man, Fly Guy, Captain Underpants, and I Survived.

Sign up for the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge and share in the magic of summer reading in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

*If the book is not returned within one week, an overdue notice will be issued to the student from the media specialist.
